# EchoLand > EchoLand is an AI in your browser’s side panel: a browser extension for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers that support side-panel extensions. It remembers what you read, shows why it thinks so, and takes corrections. It is free to start, with Go, Pro and Max plans for more. Bookmarks remember where. Notes remember what. EchoLand remembers why — and shows you how it knows. ## Use EchoLand to - Find any page you’ve read - Tidy Obsidian, painlessly - Ask your own history - Connect dots you missed - See the receipts - Fix a wrong guess in one tap - Pick up where you left off - Keep your data yours ## Features - **Adaptive Home: same extension, different home.** Home is composed from what you actually read, save and ask. Morning and evening, it adds a brief: the rhythm of your day, what took your time, what’s worth another look, and one thing for tomorrow. - **Ask: ask the page, or your past.** One box. It decides whether to read the page you’re on, what you read before, your memories or your Obsidian notes — and says what it used, right under the answer. When it’s worth keeping, it becomes a checklist, comparison or timeline. When your own material isn’t enough, Pro and Max search the web too, with sources. - **Grounding: every insight shows its work.** Every topic it sees in you says why: how many days, where you read about it, what you saved or asked. Answers say what they used, and a topic leads all the way back to the originals. - **Corrections: wrong guess? One tap fixes it.** A topic that’s off takes one tap to fix: rename it, move unrelated pages out, mark it as just lately, or stop following it. In a chat, “that’s wrong…” or “remember…” works too, and every correction can be undone. - **Connections: it connects dots you didn’t.** When today’s page meets something you saved months ago, a small capsule at the top of the page tells you — and explains how the two fit. - **Obsidian sync: writes to Obsidian, reads it back.** Documents it makes land in an EchoLand folder in your Obsidian vault as plain Markdown, sorted by topic. Change a line or tick a box in your note and it updates — and the other way round. You can ask about your notes; every write to a note asks you first. - **Cards: it picks the shape, you get the point.** A date becomes a calendar tile. A count becomes a big number. A line you wrote comes back as a quote. Ten card shapes, chosen by the content itself — no templates for you to maintain. ## Privacy - **Stored in your browser.** Memories, evidence and understanding live in a local database inside the extension. - **The smallest context, only when needed.** A question sends a small, bounded package — never your whole history, never a page’s raw code. - **Revoke a source, erase its traces.** Switch a source off and everything learned from it is cleared. - **Screens only on request.** Visual capture happens on demand, and only covers what’s visible. ## FAQ ### What is EchoLand? An AI that lives in your browser’s side panel. It turns what you read, save and ask into an understanding you can see, question and correct — and builds your home page from it. When your own material isn’t enough, Pro and Max look on the web too. ### Where does my data live? On your device, in the extension’s local storage. When a question needs a model, only the smallest context needed to answer it is sent to EchoCloud’s cloud model — never your whole browsing history. ### What does it learn from? Only the sources you allow: saved memories, past chats, collections, and the pages you visit from now on. Each can be switched off, and switching one off clears what was learned from it. ### What if it gets me wrong? Tell it. Every understanding has Spot on, Not quite, Just lately and Used to. Corrections change what it believes, and you can always see why it thought so. ### Does it work with Obsidian? Yes, both ways. Documents it makes sync into an EchoLand folder in your vault, sorted by topic, and your edits come back. You can ask about your notes, and every write to a note asks you first. What it understands about you and your browsing never go into the vault. ### Which browsers? Chrome, and Chromium-based browsers that support side-panel extensions. ### Do I have to pay? Chrome,以及支持侧边栏扩展的 Chromium 内核浏览器。 ### 要付费吗? 安装后就能免费使用(每天 5 次提问)。Go($10)、Pro($15)、Max($25),均为 31 天一期,提供更多额度和功能;Pro 的 AI 额度是 Go 的 2 倍,Max 是 6 倍。第一次开通前,可以用 $1 体验 7 天 Pro,也可以申请免费试用,通过后获得 7 天 Pro。
